The Client:
INNTEA S.r.l., active since 2009, designs and implements software and hardware solutions for the production, control and management of energy and power. With a specialised team and state-of-the-art technologies, it develops software for automation, switchboards and prefabricated transformer and control cabins.
It operates in strategic sectors such as power generation, e-mobility, water treatment, oil & gas and industry. Its flagship products include KETON, an advanced platform for real-time monitoring and control of power generation plants and immediate energy analysis.
In addition to the United States, where it is active with its subsidiary INNTEA USA INC., INNTEA solutions have been installed in more than 20 countries worldwide.
The Need:
INNTEA needed to centralise its business systems: the different departments were using separate, non-integrated solutions, causing difficulties in managing and harmonising internal processes.
This fragmented approach slowed down daily operations and hindered efficient information management. In addition, the absence of a centralised system limited the company's possibilities for growth, generating redundancies, misalignments between departments and complexity in project management, resource planning and business data analysis.
The Solution:
To meet these needs, with our support, INNTEA chose to implement SAP Business One, an ERP solution capable of centralising data and optimising business processes. The introduction of SAP Business One made it possible to overcome the inhomogeneity between the various company functions, unifying data in one centralised platform. This improved the workflow between departments, increased operational efficiency and supported the company's rapid growth, also with a view to internationalisation.
To further optimise project management, we integrated Avior, our vertical project management solution, directly into SAP Business One. The integration gave INNTEA complete, real-time visibility into the progress of projects, allowing them to accurately monitor budgets, resources, schedules and targets.
In addition, to support management in their decision-making processes, INNTEA adopted Albireo Analytics, the platform developed by HBS on Microsoft Power BI, which allows them to collect, process and visualise in real time all key information to make more informed and timely decisions.
The digital transformation journey is only at the beginning, but has already yielded concrete results. After the first commissioning phase, INNTEA is continuing with the gradual activation of the processes of contact registration, opportunity management, technical assistance tracking, job accounting and cost centre analysis.
In just three months, from September 2024 to January 2025, the system was up and running and is operating correctly, confirming the effectiveness of the technological and organisational choice.
